I asked Chat GPT to explain Hegel to me as if explaining to a child. It said: the world, including houses, bridges, and castles, is made of blocks. After a while, we get tired of doing the same thing over and over again. So, Hegel said we could change the shape of our block tower and make something else out of it. He also said that by transforming what already exists, we learn new things. For example, by building a bridge, we learn how to connect things. Or by building a castle, we learn how to create complex structures. Every time we change, we learn, and that’s why the world is always learning and constantly transforming. That’s Hegelian dialectics.
